Yoruba actress, Laide Bakare has made a statement with her new motion picture titled Jejere (tumor).
The movie, rated “International Standard” by her colleagues in the movie industry was written, produced and directed by the beautiful actress, Laide Bakare under her newly repackaged production company, Simline International (former Frontline International)
Jejere tells a story about general belief in the society and
corrects the notion of segregating the female child. The movie depicts the
Yoruba culture and teaches different lessons about the human race and how we
relate with one another.
“I’ve always wanted to make movies that will stand
side-by-side any movie from anywhere in the world” Laide stated. “Jejere is a
product of my creativity and hunger to please my creative mind”.
Laide Bakare recently studied Film Making at the New York
Film Academy, and rebranded her company into a fulltime production house. She
imported first grade cameras, lights and major studio and movie making
equipments to help her achieve her dreams of professionalism and breaking new
grounds. The repackaged Simline International is into Movie and Documentary
Production, Record Label and Production Consultancy.
The movie features an array of professional actors like
Emeka Ike, 9ice,Fathia Balogun, Akin Lewis, Ireti Osayemi, Tola Oladokun, Afeez
Eniola, Toyin Adegbola and Segun Ogungbe who doubles as co-director amongst
others.

has no acting background played a lead role and performed very convincingly
well”
The movie will be premiered along with the launch of her
production house and NGO in a soon to be announced date.
